Usher, Ward, <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 4412 BY: Wendling, Bennett, <br /> Cain, Gaydos, <br /> Huffman. <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director <br />of Public Safety to enter into a contract or contracts <br />for the purchase of various items of motor vehicle <br />equipment for the Department of Public Safety of the <br />City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure in that it provides for the immediate preserv- <br />ation of the public safety and welfare and for the <br />usual daily operation of municipal departments, now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Safety <br />be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter <br />into a contract or contracts for the purchase of the <br />following motor vehicle equipment: <br /> <br /> One four-door sedan for the Division of Fire <br /> <br />and for the sale or trade-in of present equipment on <br />such new vehicles with the lowest and best bidder or <br />bidders after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
