Usher, Ward, <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 4412 BY: Wendling, Bennett, <br /> Cain, Gaydos, <br /> Huffman. <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director <br />of Public Safety to enter into a contract or contracts <br />for the purchase of various items of motor vehicle <br />equipment for the Department of Public Safety of the <br />City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure in that it provides for the immediate preserv- <br />ation of the public safety and welfare and for the <br />usual daily operation of municipal departments, now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Safety <br />be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter <br />into a contract or contracts for the purchase of the <br />following motor vehicle equipment: <br /> <br /> One four-door sedan for the Division of Fire <br /> <br />and for the sale or trade-in of present equipment on <br />such new vehicles with the lowest and best bidder or <br />bidders after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. This resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the <br />preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirm- <br />ative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immedi- <br />ately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted:., Apri~ 5, 1965 <br /> <br />John Gaydos~ Jr. <br /> President <br /> <br />Mary Adams <br /> Clerk <br /> <br />Approved: April 9, 1965 <br /> <br />Robert M.
