Ward, Wendling, <br /> Bennett, Cain, <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 4~13 BY: Gaydos, Huffman, <br /> Usher. <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the <br />Director of Public Works to enter into a contract <br />or contracts for the purchase of various items of <br />motor vehicle equipment for the Department of' <br />Public Works of the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure in that it provides for the immediate preserv- <br />ation of the public safety and welfare and for the <br />usual daily operation of municipal departments, now <br />therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works <br />be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter <br />into a contract or contracts for the purchase of the <br />following motor vehicle equipment: <br /> <br /> One four-door sedan for the Division of Refuse <br /> <br />and for the sale or trade-in of present equipment on <br />such new vehicles with the lowest and best bidder or <br />bidders after advertisement according to law~ <br /> <br /> Section 2o This resolution is hereby declared <br />to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated <br />in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected <br />to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its adoption and approval by the <br />Mayor° <br /> <br />Adopted: April 5, 196~ <br /> John.GaYdOS,. ~. <br /> President <br /> <br />Mary Adams <br /> Clerk <br /> <br />Approved:, April 9, 1965 <br /> <br />Robert M.
