AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance <br />Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and inter- <br />est on special assessment levied on permanent parcel number 311-6-33 <br />on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's records and authorizing the County <br />Auditor to cancel said special assessment for the years 1965~ 1966 <br />and 1967. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has special assessment charged against the <br />property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 20-63, <br />adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 18, 1963, <br />and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The owner of the said property has tendered payment <br />of the principal portion and interest on the special assessment <br />levied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section <br />5719.16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ This resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF CHI0: <br /> <br /> Section t. That the Director of Finance of the City of <br />Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the <br />sum of $69.57 tendered in payment of the principal and interest <br />for the years 1965 through 1967 of special assessment charged <br />against the property described as permanent parcel number 311-6-33 <br />on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and levied under <br />Ordinance No. 20-63, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood <br />on March 18, 1963. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set <br />forth having been accepted as set forth in Section i hereof, and <br />the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized to <br />cancel said special assessment for the years 1965 through 1967 <br />levied under Ordinance No. 20-63, adopted by the Council of the <br />City of Lakewood on March 18, 1963 on permanent parcel number <br />3tl-6-33 on the County Auditor's records and further described as <br />being Sublet number 146 in the Clifton Park Land & Improvement Co. <br />Subdivision, each annual assessment being in the amount of $23.19. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby <br />authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this reso- <br />lution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having <br />said special assessment canceled. <br /> <br /> Section 4. ~hat this resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof <br />and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council~ it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />ClerM <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
