SOL ION NO. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing <br />the Director of Public Works to enter into a contract, after <br />approval by Council,for the construction of the diversion of <br />the W. ll7th Street sewer from Cleveland to Lakewood~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure providing for the immediate preservation of the~ public <br />health and safety and for the usual daily operation of a muni- <br />cipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1o That the Director of Public Works be <br />and he is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the <br />construction of the diversion of the W. ll7th Street sewer <br />from Cleveland to Lakewood, in accordance with plans prepared <br />therefor in the office of the Director of Public Works, with <br />the lowest and best bidder after advertisement according to <br />law, and only after approval of such contract by the Council <br />of the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> Section 2. This resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by <br />the Mayor~ <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
