AS AMENDED <br />Me~_~g January 3~ 1966 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. ~¢a BY:~ ~ <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION requesting~-e~'tor of CUyahoga <br />County to draw and the Treasurer of Cuyahoga County to pay to <br />the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood an advanoe of' <br />taxes collected for the year 1965 in such amounts as may be <br />quested and available. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 321.34 of the Revised Code provides that <br />when local authorities by resolution so request, the County <br />Auditor shall draw and the County Treasurer shall pay on such <br />draft to township clerks, treasurers of municipal corporations, <br />the Clerk of any board of education, and the treasurer of any <br />other political subdivision or taxing district whose funds de- <br />rived from taxes or other sources are payable by law to the County <br />Treasurer, any money that may be in the county treasury to the <br />accounts of such local authorities; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, It will be necessary for the City of Lakewood to <br />obtain an~adVance of taxes prior to the regular tax settlement <br />for the year; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the immediate preservation of the public property <br />and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: ~ <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be re- <br />quested to draw and the Treasurer of Cuyahoga County be requested <br />to pay to the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood, State <br />of Ohio, an advance of taxes for the year 1965 in such amount as <br />may be requested of him and which are available. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
