RESOLUTION NO. 4~65 <br /> <br />BY:Messrs. <br /> <br />Kelley, Usher, <br />Ward, Wendling, <br />Cain, Hu£fman. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Charlton D. Hull for his public <br />service as a member of the Civil Service Commission in the City of <br />Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Charlton D. Hull served as~a member of the <br />Lakewood Civil Service Commission for nineteen years, having <br />been appointed February 1, 1947 and having retired December <br />31, 19650 and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Hull has demonstrated outstanding and <br />unselfish devotion to duty and loyalty to the City of Lakewood, <br />its employees and residents, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, During his nineteen years with the Civil <br />Service Commission, Mr. Hull has served sixteen years as President, <br />thus providing the type of leadership so vital to the proper <br />function of this Commission, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, He has exemplified the kind of'community service <br />provided by individual citizens through the years, not for recog- <br />nition or reward but because of his sincere interest in providing <br />assistance to his community, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The warmth and genuine interest in others so <br />characteristic of Mr. Hull has brought him a wealth of lasting <br />and sincere friendships, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, such dedication to duty and years of public <br />service should be recognized in a proper and fitting manner; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council extends to Mr. Charlton <br />D. Hull its appreciation and that of all the citizens of the <br />community for his years of public service as a member of the <br />Civil Service Commission in the City of Lakewood, and further <br />that this Council wishes him continued health and prosperity. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is <br />hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of <br />this Resolution to Mr. Charlton D.
