RESOLUTION NO. 4485 BY: Messrs. Huffman~ Kelley, <br /> Usher, Ward, <br /> Wendling, Cain. <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the <br />Director of Public Works to enter into a requirement contract <br />for the purchase of the necessary items of water meters and <br />water meter parts for a period of one (1) year commencing <br />April 1, 1966. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This Resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he <br />is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a requirement <br />contract for the purchase of the necessary items of water meters <br />and water meter parts for a period of one (1) year commencing <br />April 1, 1966, with the lowest and best bidder after advertise- <br />ment according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof <br />and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of <br />all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor° <br /> <br />Adopted= March 21, 1966 <br /> <br />Charles S.
