RESOLUTION NO. 4486 BY: Messrs. Kelley, Usher, <br /> Ward, Wendling, <br /> Huf£man. <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public <br />Works to enter into a contract or contracts for the purchase of <br />various items of motor vehicle equipment for the Department of <br />Public Works of the City of Lakewood~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This Resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />in that it provides for the immediate preservation of the public <br />safety and welfare and for the usual daily operation of municipal <br />departments, now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he <br />is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract or <br />contracts for the purchase of the following motor vehicle equip- <br />ment: <br /> <br />Two (2) Sedans <br />Two (2) Packer Trucks <br />Tw~o (2) Pick-Up Trucks <br />One (1) Payloader <br />One (1) Sewer Rodder <br /> <br />and for the sale or trade-in of present equipment on such new <br />vehicles with the lowest and best bidder or bidders after <br />advertisement according to lawo <br /> <br /> Section 2o This Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof <br />and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of <br />all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be <br />in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: ,Ma~ch 21~ 1966 .... <br /> Charles So Muffman, Jr. <br /> President <br /> <br />Approved:.~arch 25, 196~ <br /> <br />MarY, Adams <br /> Clerk <br /> <br />Robert M.
