RESOLL~DION NO. 4488 BY~ Messrs. Huffman, Kelley, Usher, Ward, Wendling, Cain, Gaydos~ AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directzng the Finance Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and in- terest on special assessment levied on permanent parcel number 311-20-28 on the CUyahoga County Auditor's records and authoriz- ing the County Auditor to cancel said special assessment for the years 1966, 1967, 1968 and 1969. WHEREAS, the City has special assessment charged against the property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. ~ ad~pted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on May 4, ~O~ an~, WHEREAS, The owner of the said property has tendered payment of the principal portion and interest on the special assessment levied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5719.16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and, WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal depart- ment; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $109.68 tendered in paymen~ of the principal and inter- est for the years 1966 through 1969 os special assessment charged against the property described as permanent parcel number 311- 20-R8 on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and lev- ied under Ordinance No. 61-64, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on May 4, 1964. Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth having been accepted as set forth in Section I hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized to cancel said special assessment for the years 1966 through 1969 levied under Ordinance No. 61-64, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood On May 4, 1964 on permanent parcel number 311- -20-28 on the County Auditor's records and further described as being Sublet n~mber 21, in the Cliff-Webb Subdivision, each annual assessment being in the amount of Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this res- olution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of hav- ing said special assessment canceled. Section ~. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure ~or the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of ail members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
