RESOLUTION NO. ~%-~ BY: ¢~F~ A RESOLUTION to commemorate the Golden Anniversary of the Ordination to the Priesthood of the Right Reverend'Monsignor Francis J. Dubosh which will be celebrated at St. Edward's High School in Lakewood, Ohio on Sunday, June 12~ 1966. WHEREAS, Msgr. Dubosh became Pastor of SS. Cyril & Methodius Church on October 1, 1927 and during his years of service there, has participated in the building of the present church in 1931, its complete rejuvenation in 1948, the building of the convent and enlargement of the Rectory in 1950, and the enlargement and remodeling of the school in 1955, and WHEREAS, He has been a Diocesan Consultant since 1938, a Domestic Prelate since 1934~ and has devoted his entire life to the priestly mission~ being known for his humanitarian interest in the welfare of the people of his Church, and WHEREAS, He has a genuine concern for the Slovak people throughout the Greater Cleveland area, having served as Supreme Chaplain and also as President of various Slovak organizations, as well as being one of the founders of the Slovak Radio Club, and WHEREAS, Such service, loyalty and devotion to his fellow man should be recognized and commemorated in a proper and fitting manner; NOW, T}~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That this Council pay tribute to the Right Reverend Monsignor Francis J. Dubosh in recognition of his fifty years of toil for the glory of God and the salvation of souls, for his Church, his parishioners and the community. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward to Msgr.
