AN E~ERCEN~Y RESOLUTION authorEzing and directEng the FEnance DEtecter of the CEty of Lakewood to accept the principal and intere$~ on special assessment levied on permanent parcel number 315-11-26, known for street numbering purposes as 1559 Winchester Avenue, on the Cuy~hoga County Auditor's records and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel said special assessment for the years 1966~ 1967, 1968 and 1969. WHEREAS, the City has special assessment charged against the property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 56-64, adopted by the CounCil of the City of Lakewood on May 4, I964, and, WHEREAS, '£he owner of the said property has tendered payment of the principal portion and interest on the special assessment levied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5719.16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and, WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure pro- viding for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, BE I~ RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CI'~Y OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section t, That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood be in he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $54~88 tendered in payment of the principal and interest for the years 1966, 1967, 1968 and 1969 of special assessment charged against the property described as permanent parcel number 315-11-26 on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and~levied under Ordinance No. 56-64, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on May 4, 1964. SectEon 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth having been accepted as set forth in Section 1 hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized to cancel said special assessment fore,the years 1966, 1967, 1968 and 1969, levied under Ordinance No. 56-64, adopted by the Council of the Cigy of Lakewood on May 4, 1964, on permanent parcel number 315-11-26 on the County Auditor's records and further described as being Sublot 82, in the G. M. Collins Subdivision, each annual assessment being in the amount of $13.72. Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to deliver a certifiad copy of this resolution to the Audltorof Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessment canceled. Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, Et shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
