RESOLUTION NO. 449~ BY: ~ ~ ~fma~ <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance Director <br />of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and interest on Special <br />assessment levied on permanent parcel number 312-17-90, known for street <br />numbering purposes as 1320 St. Charles Avenue, on the Cuy~hoga County Auditor's <br />records and authorizing the County Auditor to canoei said special assessment <br />for the year 1966. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has specia~ assessment charged against the property <br />hereinafterdescribed and levied under Ordinance No. 56-64, adopted by the <br />Council of the City Of' Lakewood on May 4, 1964, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the owner of the said property has tendered payment of the <br />principal portion and interest on the special assessmer~ levied on said parcel <br />pursuant to the provisions of Section 5719.16 of the Revised Code of the <br />State of Ohio, and~ <br /> <br /> Wt~REAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing <br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; new, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood be <br />and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $18.08 tendered <br />in payment of the principal and interest for the year 1966 of special assess- <br />ment charged against the property described as permanent parcel number <br />312-17-90 on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and levied <br />under Ordinance No. 56-64, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood <br />on May 4, 1964, <br /> <br /> Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth <br />herin§ been accepted as set forth in Section 1 hereof, and the Auditor of <br />Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized to cancel said special assess- <br />ment for the year 1966, levied under Ordinance No. 56-64 adopted by the <br />Council of the City of Lakewood on May 4, 1964, on permanemt parcel number <br />312-17-90 on the County Auditor's records and further described as being <br />Sublet 37, in the ~ieber-Rhodes-Eel Subdivision, each annual assessment <br />being in the amount of $18,08. <br /> <br /> Section 3, That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized <br />and directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Auditor <br />of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessment canceled. <br /> <br /> Section 4.
