RESOLUTION NOo 4504 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Kelley, Usher, Ward, <br /> Wendliug, Cain, Gaydos~ & Huffman <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public <br />Works to enter into a contract for the purchase of the necessary <br />requirements of gasoline for the several departments of the city, <br />for a period of one year, commencing November 1, 1966. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary to furnish the several departments <br />of the City with gasoline for the operation of vehicles and <br />motorized equipment, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the immediate preservation of the public property <br />and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE coLrNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1o That the Director of Public Works be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract for the <br />purchase of the necessary requirements of gasoline for a period of <br />one year, beginning November 1, 1966, for the several departments <br />of the City, with the lowest and best bidder after advertisement <br />according to lawo <br /> <br /> Section 2o That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor° <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />July 18. 1966 <br /> <br />Charles S.
