RESOLUTION NO, 4530 <br /> <br />BY: Gaydos, Huffman, Kelley, <br /> Ward, Usher, Cain <br /> <br /> AN EF~R~ENCY RESOLUTION declaring the intent of the Council <br />of the City of Lakewood to vacate Detroit Alley in the City of Lake- <br />wood, from Graber Drive easterly approximately 114.43 feet. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety <br />and welfare and for the usual daily operation of a municipal depart- <br />ment; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That it hereby declares its intent to vacate <br />a portion of Detrait Alley in the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> SectiOn 2. That the Clerk of Council shall cause notice <br />of such declaration to be served in the manner that the service of <br />sum~ons is required to be made, upon all persons whose property <br />abuts upon the part of Detroit Allay affected by the proposed vaca- <br />tion, and by publication once in one newspaper of general circula- <br />tion i~ the City of Lakewoed as to all persons who cannot be perstmally ~ <br />served. Said nc~ic~ shall state the time and place wh,n objections can <br />he heard before the Eoaxd of Revision of Aseessments. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this resolution is hereby d~tarc~t to:be <br />an emergency measure-for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof <br />and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-third~ of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall' take effect and be in force <br />trm~edtately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
