RESOLUT%ON MO, 453~ BY Messrs. C~in, Gaydos= Huffman~ Keiley, Usher, Ward and Wandting A RESOLU'fIONt~ comme~ the membera O~ ~he Board of Trustees of the Police Relief and Pension Fund of the City oi Lakewoodj Ohio. WHBREAS~ the members of ~h~ Board of Trustees of the Police Relief and Pensioa Fu~d have, for many years, performed an ~xtremaly waluable service to the members of said Fund~ all of whom are, or at one time were, employees of the City of Lakewood, and, WHEREAS~ in performing such Serviee~ the me~Wbers of said Board of Trustees have devoted countless hours of their own time to the administration of the affairs of said Fund~ and {q~;P~A~ the members of said Board of TrustDes have dispiayed a high degree of dedicatio~, diligence and devotion to the performance of their duties, and, W~EREAS, pursuan~ to the laws of the ~tate of Ohio, the funatious aud duties of said Fund were~ on the first day of fanuary, 1967, assumed by The police and Fireman's Disability and Pension Fund of Ohio, and, W~EREAS, this Council is desirous of reeognizi~g such past services in a proper and fitting manner; now, therefore~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TI{~ CITY OF %&KEWOOD: STATE OF O~IO: Sa¢2ion l~ That Lakewood City Council extends to all those who have served as members of the Board of Trustees of tile Pelice Relief and Pension Fund of Lakewood, Ohio its grateful appreciation and that of the citizens of Lake~ood for the dedicated and valuHble services rendered by each member thereof throughout tile years of said Fund's existence, Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized ~nd directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to the Secretary of the Police Relief and Pension Fund, Section 3~ That this Resel~tinn shall take effect and ~e in force i~maedia~ely npo~ its adoption and approval by Charles S. Ruffma~ Jr. Pres~.denu ~__ January__ ~, Robert M~ Lax~her Mayor
