RESOLUTION NO, 4540 BY~ Messrs. Cain, Gaydos, Ruffman, Kell~ Usher, Ward & Wendling AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the pri~cipsl and interest on special assessment levied on permanent parcel number 315-i0~10, and known for street numbering purposes as 12517 Detroit Avenue, o~ the Cuyahoga County Auditor's records and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel said special assessment for the years 1967, 1968, 1969 and 1970. WHEREAS, the City has special assessment charged against the property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No, 22-66 adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 21, 1966, and, WHEREAS~ the owner of the said property has tendered payment of the principal portion amd interest on the special assessment levied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5719.16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and, WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure pro- viding for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD~ STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $88.24 tendered in payment of the principal and interest for the years 1967, 1968, 1969 and 1970 of special assessment charged against the property described as permanent parcel number 315-10-10 on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga COunty, Ohio, and levied under O~dinance 22-66 adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 21, 1966. Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth having been accepted as set forth in Section 1 hereof~ snd the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized to cancel said special assessment for the years 1967, 1968, 1969 and 1970, levied under Ordinance No~ 22-66 adopted by the Council of the City. of Lakewood on March 21, 1966, on permanent parcel number 315-10-10 in the Humiston, W~hrman and Bradford Subdivision, each annual ~sessment being in the amount of $22.06. Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby auth- orized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessment canceled. Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
