RESOLUTION NO. 4555 BY: <br /> <br />Messrs. Huffman, Kelley, Usher, <br /> Ward, Wendling & Gaydos <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public Safety <br />to enter into a contract or contracts for the purchase of two station <br />wagons and seven sedans for the Division of Police of the City of Lakewood <br />Safety Department, and one station wagon for the Division of Health of the <br />City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure in that <br />it provides for the i~nediate preservation of the public safety and welfare <br />and for the usual daily operation of municipal departments, now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br /> <br />OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Safety be and he is here- <br />by authorized and directed to enter into a contract or contracts for the <br />purchase of two station wagons and seven sedans for the Division of Police <br />and for the sale of two station wagons and seven sedans as trade-in on such <br />new vehicles with the lowest and best bidder or bidders after advertisement <br />according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Public Safety be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract for the purchase of one <br />station wagon for the Division of Health and for the sale of one station <br />wagon as trade-in on such new vehicle with the lowest and best bidder or <br />bidders after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 3. This resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it re- <br />ceives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all mmmbers elected to Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: ~rch 6, 1967 <br /> <br />Charles S.
