RESOLUTION NO. 4558 BY: Messrs. K~lley, Usher Ward, Wendl. ing, Caydos, ~uffman AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director of Public Works to enter into a contract, after approval b~ Council, for the construction of approximately 2,400 feet of twelve-inch water main in Detroit Avenue extending from Blossom Park Avenue to Waterbury Road. WHEREAS, This Council has determined to proceed with the improvement set forth in the title hereof by contract, and, WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the immediate preservation of the public health and safety and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY ~E COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he hereby is authorized to enter into a contract for the construction of approximately 2,400 feet of twelve-inch water main in Detroit Avenue extending from Blossom Park Avenue to Waterbury Road, in accord- ance with plans prepared therefore in the office of the Director of Public Works, with the lowest and best bidder after advertisement according to law, and only after approval of such contract by the Council of the City of Lakewood. Section 2. This resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. ~opted: March 67 1967 Charles S.
