RESOLUTION 4568 BY <br /> <br />Messrs. Cain, Gaydos, Huffman, <br /> Kelley, Usher, Ward and <br /> Wendling <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance <br />Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and interest <br />on special assessment levied on permanent~parcel number 311-23-73, and <br />known for street numbering purposes as 17621 Cannon Avenue, on the <br />Cuyahoga County Auditor's records and authorizing the County Auditor <br />to cancel said special assessment for the years 1967 and 1968. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has special assessment charged against the <br />property 'hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 14-64 <br />adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 2, 1964, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The owner of the said property has tendered payment <br />of the principal portion and interest on the special assessment levied <br />on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5719.16 of the <br />Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department, <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOL%VED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of <br />Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the <br />sum of $32.16 tendered in payment of the principal and interest for <br />the years 1967 and 1968, of special assessment charged sgai~ t the <br />property described as permanent parcel numb4~ 311-23-73 on the Auditor's <br />records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and levied under Ordinance No. 14-64 <br />adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 2, 1964. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth <br />having been accepted ss set forth in Section 1 hereof, and the Auditor <br />of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized to cancel said <br />special assessment for the years 1967 and 1968 levied under Ordinance <br />No. 14-64 adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 2, 1964 <br />on permanent parcel number 311-23-73 on the County Auditor's records <br />and further described as being in the Northwood Park Subdivision <br />Volume 29, Page 27, each annual assessment being in the amount of $16.08. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby <br />authorized and directed to deliver a eertif~ d copy of this resolution <br />to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having said <br />special assessment canceled. <br /> <br /> Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency me~sure stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives <br />the affirmetlve vote of two-thirds of all m~bers elected to Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: May 1, 1967 Charles S.
