RESOLUTION NO. 4582 <br /> <br />BY:Messrs. Cain, Gaydos, Huffman, Kelley, <br /> Usher, Ward and Wendling <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public <br />Works to enter into a contract for the purchase of the necessary <br />requirements of gasoline for the several departments of the City, <br />for a period of one year, commencing November 1, 1967. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary to furnish the several departments <br />of the City with gasoline for the operation of vehicles and <br />motorized equipment, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the immediate preservation of the public property <br />and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract for the <br />purchase of the necessary requirements of gasoline for a period <br />of one year, beginning November 1, 1967, for the several depart- <br />ments of the City, with the lowest and best bidder after adver- <br />tisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof <br />and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of <br />all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: September 5, 1967 <br /> <br />Charles S.
