RESOLUTION NO. 4591 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Kelley, Usher, Ward, Weudling, <br /> Cain, Gaydos, Huffman <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the <br />Director of Public Works to enter into a contract or contracts <br />for the purchase of the necessary requirements of valves and <br />pipe fittings for tke year 1968 for use in the Division of <br />Water. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the immediate preservation of the public property <br />and welfare and for the usual daily operation of a municipal <br />department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he <br />is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br />or contracts for the purchase of the necessary requirements <br />of valves and pipe fittings for the year 1968 for use in She <br />Division of Water, with the lowest and best bidder or bidders <br />after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: n~r~r A. 1067 <br /> <br />Charles S.
