RESOLUTION NO. 4592 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Usher, Ward, Wendltng, <br /> Cain, Gaydos, Huffman and Kelley <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the <br />Director of Public Works to enter into a requirement contract <br />for the purchase of the necessary items of fire hydrants and <br />fire hydrant parts for a period of one (1) year commencing <br />January 1, 1968. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the immediate preservation of the public property <br />and welfare and for the usual daily operation of a municipal <br />department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CiTY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he <br />is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a requirement <br />contract for the purchase of the necessary items of fire <br />hydrants and fire hydrant parts for a period of one year <br />commencing January 1, 1968, with the lowest and best bidder <br />after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2o That this resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted:... <br /> <br />December 4, 1967 <br /> <br />Charles S.
