Mills for his public service <br />as a member of the Lakewood Planning Com~nission in the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Russell W. ~ills has served as a member of the Lakewood <br />Planning Cormmission for the last six years and served as Chairman of the <br />Commission for two years, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. ~ills has demonstrated outstanding and unselfish <br />devotion to duty and loyalty to the City of Lakewood, its employens and <br />residents, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Russell W, Mills through his interest in church <br />activities, the YMCA and all phases of community service has exemplified <br />the kind of leadership which is so necessary to continued growth of this <br />community, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during his term of service as a member of the Lakewood <br />Planning Commission he has been a 'loyal and faithful member~ given liberally <br />of his time, talents and energies, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, such public service should be recognized in a proper <br />and fitting manner; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council extends to Mr. Russell W. Mills <br />its appreciation and that of all the citizens of Lakewood for his service <br />as a member of the Lakewood Planning Commission. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby <br />authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution <br />to Mr. Russell W. Mills at 1571 Marlowe Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio, a~d that <br />a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting. <br /> <br />Adopted:.. .
