RESOLUTION NO. 4605 BY: Messrs~ Usher Ward, Weod!inf ~ ~aydos, Huffman~ Kelley AN EPMRGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and interest on special assessment levied on permanent parcel numbe~ 313-20-749 and known for street numbering purposes as 1569 Cordova Aven.ue. on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's records and authorizing the County Auditor's records and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel said special assessment for the years 1968, 1969 and 1970. WHEREAS, the City has special assessment charged against the ~rcperty herein- after described and lev~ed under Ordinance No. 20-66 adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 21, 1966, and, I~EREAS, The owner of ~he said property has tendered payment of the principal portion and interest on the special assessment levied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5719~)6 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and, WHERE~S, This resolution constitute~; an emergency measure pro,r ,.ainu. fe:~ the USual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore: BE IT RESOLVED BY TIlE COUNCIL OF '~HE CITY OF LAI(EWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to mccept the sum of $47.46 tendered in payment of the principal and interest for tee years 1968~ 1969 and 1970~ cf special assessment charged against the property described ~s permanent parcel number 313-20-74 on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio~ and levied under Ordinance 20-66, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 21,1966. Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set f~rth having been accepted as set forth in SectZOn i hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized to cancel said special assessment for the years t968~ 1969 and 1970~ lev~d under Ordinance No. 20-66~ adopted by the Council of the City of Lake~ood on Marci~ 21, 1966 on permanent parcel, number 313-20-74 on the County Auditor's retards and further dmscribed as being ~n the ~athews and Gilbert Subdivision #3, Volume 29, Page 5, each annual assessment being in the amount of $15.82~ Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and sbe is hereby authorized and directed to deliver a certified ¢c~v of this resolution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessment canceled, Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of ali members elected ~o Ccur~cil~ it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption ~n~ approval by the Mayor.
