Ward, Wendling, Graber~ Huffman~ Kell~y A RESOLUTION commending the Lakewood Lzttle Theater a~ its Director~ Karl Mackey, for their contributions in establishing and maintaining high cultural standards J.~ the City of Lakewood. WHEREAS, The Lakewood Little Theater will celebrate its 38th year of continued operation in the summer of 1968~ and~ WHEREAS, Throughout this entire timed the Lakewood Little Theater has continued to provide the citizens of Lakewood and neighboring communities with the highest quality of enter- tainment establishing itself as one of Lakewood's finest institutions, and, WHEREAS, Each year some 500 citizens of all ages contributetheir time and talent to the numerous productions which provide so much enjoyment to the patrons of the theater, and~ WHEREAS~ Over 40~000 persons from Lakewood and its neighboring communities attended the Lakewood Little Theater last year, and, WHEREAS~ The Lakewood Little Theater productions have won m~y awards over the years and it is noted for its high standard of production throughout the country; now~ therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That Lakewood City Council extends to the Lakewood Little Theater and its fine director~ Karl Mackey~ its appreciation and congratulations~ and that of all of the citizens of this community~ for their contribution to the continued growth of the fine arts of the community° Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to Karl Mackey~ Director~ Lakewood Little Theater~ 17823 Detroit Avenue~ Lakewood, Ohio.
