RESOLUTION NO. 4641 BY Messrs. Wendling, Gs~dos, Graber, Huffman, Kelley, Usher, Ward A RESOLUTION expressing the sympathy of the Council and the Administration of the City of Lakewood to the family of the late Alexander Tsiros, P.F.C., U~S. Army. WHEREAS, The Council of the City of Lakewood"desires to honor the memory of our brave young men serving in Vietnam who have unselfishly eacrificed their lives for the freedom of mankind, and whose passing should not go unnoticed by the residents of our community, and~ WHEREAS, Alexander Tsiros was a resident of the City of Lakewood, where he attended Madison Elementary School, Harding Junior High School, and Lakewood High School from which he ~raduated in 1965, and, WHEREAS, Alexander Tsiros attended Cleveland State University, in the school of Business Administration for one year prior to entering the army, and, WHEREAS, Alexander Tsiros, age 21, was killed in Vietnam on May 2, 1968~ in fighting at Quang Tri Province, and, WHEREAS, Alexander Tsiros was a loyal and patriotic young man who chose to serve his country during wartime and deserves our gratitude and respect for making the supreme sacrifice; now, therefore: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That this entire Council and the Administration honors the memory of Alexander Tsiros~ and ex~ends deepest sympathy to hie parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Tsiros, his brothers and sisters, all of whom reside at 1543 Rosewood Avenue, Lakewood. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby auth- orized and directed to present a c~ified copy of this resolution to the family of Alexander Tsiros, and that .a copy of this resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting.
