RESOLUTION NO. 4649 BY : Messrs. Kelley, Graber, Usher, Ward, Gaydos AN EEERCENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and interest on special assessment Levied ou permanent parcel number 313-20-174, and known for street num~erin§ purposes as 1557 Spring Garden Avenue, on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's records and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel said special assessment for the years 1968 and 1969. W~EREAS, The City has special assessment charged against the property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 62-64, adopted By the Oounoil of the City of Lakewood on May 7, 1964, and WHEREAS, The owner of the said property has tendered payment of the principal portion and interest on the special assessment levied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5719.16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and, -- WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood be and he is hereby autherized and directed to accept the sum of $27.64 tendered in payment of the principal and interest for the years 1968 an~ 1969, of special assessment charged against the property described as permanent parcel number 313-20-174 on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and levied under Ordinance No. 62-64, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on May 7, 1964. Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth having been accepted aa set forth in Section 1 hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized to cancel said special assessment for the years 1968 and I969, levied under Ordinance No. 62-64 adopted by theC®un~il ofthe City of Lakewood on May '7, 1964, on permanent parcel number 313-20-174 on the County Auditor's records end further described as being in the Mathews and Gilbert Subdivision Volume 28, page 29, each annual assessment being in the amount of $13.82. Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolutinn to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessment canceled. Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Con=il, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
