RESOLUTION NO,, 4654 BY: Messrs. Wards Usher, Wendling, Huffman, Grabe~ AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and interest on special assessment levied on permanent parcel num- ber 313-26-156, and known for street numbering purposes as 1546 Rosewood Ave., on the Cuyahoga County Auditor.s records and author- izing the County Auditor to cancel said special assessment for the years 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971. WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood has special assessment charged against the property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance 41 66 adopted by the Council of the City on April 18, 1966, and WHEREAS, the owner of the said property has tendered payment of the principal portion and interest on the special assessment lev- ied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5719.16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and, WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THECITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1o That the Director of Finance of the City of Lake- wood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $56.32 tendered in payment of the princiPal and interest for the y~ars 1968, 1969, ~970, 1971, of special assessment charged a~ainst the property described as permanent parcel number 313-26-156 mn the AUditor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and levied under Ordi- nance 41-66, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on April 18, 1966. Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth having been accepted as set forth in Section I hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized' to cancel said special assessment for the year 1968~ 1969, 1970, 1971 levied under Ordinance No. 41-66, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on April 18, 1966 on permanent parcel number 313-26-156 on the County Auditor's records and further described as being in the Pumphrey Realty Company.s Orchard Grovo Subdivision. Volume 30, Page 5, each annual assessment being in the amount of $1~.08. Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolu- tion to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessment canceled. Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reascns stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all mem- bers elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immed- iately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
