RESOLUTION NO. 4656 ~ssrso l~elley, USher, Ward, Wendling, Gaydos, Graber, Huffman AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood to correct an error in the Special Assessmen~ Certificatior~ List (bearing county assessment code number 4531), dated August 25, 196'7 and transmitted to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County pursuant to Ordinance No. 41-66, adopted April 18~ 1966. WHEREAS, On the 25th day of August, 1967, the Finance Director of the City of Lakewood, Ohio~ prepared and sub- mitted to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, a Special ASsessment Certification List.pursuant to Lakewood City Council ordinance Number 41-66, adopted April 18, 1966, and, WHEREAS, It has come to the attention of the Finance Director that an error was made on said Special Assessment Certification List (bearing county assessment code number 4531) in that the property known as permanent parcel number 313-25-55, owned by Angeline Unfried, was assessed $70.40($14.08 annually) when it should have been assessed $97.50($19.50 annually) and the property known as permanent parcel number 313-25-56, owned by Dorothy Dickey~ was assessed $97.50($19.50 annually) when it should have been assessed $70.40 ($14.08 annually), and~ WHEREAS, It is necessary to correct said error and to notify the Auditor of Cuyahoga County of such correction, and, WHEREAS, ~is resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, thereiore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood, Ohio, be and he is hereby authorized and directed to correct the amount of the assessment appearing opposite permanent parcel number 313-25-55, owned by Angeline Unfried, so as to change said assessment~ for the 1968 through 1971, inelusive~ tax duplicate years, from $70.40 ($14.08 annually) to $97.50 ($19.50 annually) and to correct the amount of assessment appearing opposite permanent parcel number 313-25-56, owned by Dorothy Dickey, so as to change said assessment, for the 1968 through 1971, inclusive, tax duplicate years~ from $97.50 ($19.50 annually) to $70.40 ($14.08 annually). Section 2. That said corrections as hereinbefore .set forth,having been made, the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized to correct his records accordingly. Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having the aforesaid error corrected.
