RESOLUTION NO. 4660 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Wendling, Ward, Gaydos, <br />Graber, Huffman, Kelley, Usher <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public <br />Works to enter into a contract for the purchase of the necessary <br />requirements of gasoline for several departments of the City, <br />for a period of one year, commencing November !, 1968o <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary to furnish the several depart- <br />ments of the City with gasoline for the operation of vehicles <br />and motorized equipment, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the immediate preservation of the public property <br />and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHI0: <br /> <br /> Section io That the Director of Public Works be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract for the <br />purchase of tb.e necessary requirements of gasoline for a period <br />of one year, beginning November 1, 1968, for the several depart- <br />mentS of the City, with the lowest and best bidder after adver- <br />tisement according to lawo <br /> <br /> Section 2° That this resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all me~bers elected to Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted:...Septemb.e: 3, 1968 ..... <br /> <br />Approved: September 3. 1968 <br /> <br />Robert E. 3JendlinE <br /> <br />President <br /> <br />Grace ReynQ,ld s__ <br /> Clerk <br /> <br />Robert M.
