RESOLUTION NO. 4661 BY: Messrs. Huffman, Kell~ , Usher,~ Ward, Wendting, Gaydos, Graber AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and interest on special assessment levied on permanent paz, cel number 314-20-92, and known for street numbering pu~poses at 14704 Bayes Avenue, on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's records and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel said special assessment for the years 1968-69. WHEREAS the City has special assessment charged against the prop- erty hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. ~7-6~, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on May I, 1964, and, WHEREAS, the owner of the said property has tendered payment of the principal portion and interest on the special assessment levied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5719,16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and, %~HEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department, now, therefore, BE IT RESOL~-ED BY THE COUNCIL OF T~E CITY OF LAIfEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO~ Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $35.68 tendered in payment of the principal and interest for the years 1968 and 1969, of special assessment charge~ a~ains.~ the property described as permanent parcel number 314 RO 92 on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and levied under Ordinance 47-64, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on May 7, 1964. Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth having been accepted as set forth in Section 1 hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized to cancel said special assessment for the years 1968 and 1969, levied under Ordinance No. 47-64, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on May 7, 1964, on permanent parcel number 31~-20-92 on the County Auditor's records and further de~.cribed as being in the Bayes Subdivision, Volume 42, Page 29, each annual assessment being in the amount of $17.84. Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby author- ized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessment canceled. Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
