Huffman, Kelley, Usher, <br />l~endling, Gaydos~ Graber <br /> <br /> AN EFiE~GENCY RESQLUTION authorizing the Director <br />of Public Works to advertise for bids for the sale of certain <br />real estate ]~©caked at 1471 Belle Avenue in the City of <br />Lakewood and here.%nafter specifically described~ which property <br />is now owned iby the City of Lakewood and is Dot needed for any <br />municipal pur~ose~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The said real property was initially purchased <br />for the storage of hospital equipment during the construction <br />of the addition to Lakewood Hospita!~and~ <br /> <br /> WMEREAS~ Sufficient facilities have been constructed <br />to house the aforementioned hospital eqaipment and supplies~ and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ The said real property owned by the City of <br />Lakewood is no longer needed fcr any municipal purpose~ and~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure in 'that it provides for the immediate preservation of <br />the public health, safety and welfare and for ~he usual daily <br />operation of a municipal department~ now~ therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF I~KEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1o That the Director of Public Works is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the sale of a <br />certain parcel of real estate now owned by the City of Lakewood <br />and described as follows: <br /> <br />Situa~ed in the City of Lakewood, County of <br />Cuyahoga~ State of ~nio and being known as <br />Sublot No. 120 in the Belle Avenue Allotment <br />of part of Original Rockport Township Section <br />NO.22 as shown by the recorded plat in Volume <br />gl of Maps~ Page 23 of Cuyahoga County Records, <br />and being 45 feet front on the Easterly side of <br />Belle Avenue~ 187o52 feet deep on the Southerly <br />line, 187~62 feet deep on the Northerly line and <br />45 feet in 'the rear~ as appears by said plat, be <br />the same more or less: but s~bject to all legal <br />highwsys. <br /> <br /> Section 2~ That said advertise~ent shall state that <br />any contract for the sale of said property shall be subject to <br />t~e approval of Council; that the conveyance will be by the usual <br />form of warranty deed used by the City, and shall be subject to <br />taxes and assessments, both general and special, if any~ all of <br />which shall be prorated as of the date of filing the deed for <br />record and subject to restrictions~ conditions and reservations <br />of record and zoning ordinances: that the escrow fee shall be <br />paid one-half by the City and one~-ha]f by ~e purchaser and <br />that the City reserves t~e right to re'~ect any and all bids, <br />or any part fhereofo <br /> <br /> <br />
