RESOLUT!Ob! NO. 4692 <br /> <br />BY~ Messrs. Ward~ Ga~dos, Graber, <br /> Huffmsn, Kelley~ Usher <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance Director of <br />the City of Lakewoed to accept the principal and interest on special <br />assessment levied on permanent parcel number 313-19-115 and known for <br />street numberinff purposes az 1452-~4 Cordova Avenue on the Cuyahoga County <br />Auditor's records and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel said special <br />assessment for the years 1969 and 1970. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City has special assessment charged against the property <br />hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 20-66, adopted by <br />the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 21~ 1966, and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The owner of the said property has tendered payment of the principal <br />portion and interest on the special assessment levied on said parcel pursuant <br />to the provisions of Section 5719.16 of the Revised Code of the State of <br />Ohio~ ~nd, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the <br />usual daily operation of a municipal department~ now, therefore~ <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood be and he <br />is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $31.64 tendered <br />in payment of the principal and interest for the years 1969 and 1970, ol <br />special assessment charged against the property described as permanent <br />parcel number 313-19-t15 in tee Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio~ <br />and levied under Ordinance No. 20-66 adopted by the Council of the City of <br />Lakewood on March 21, 1966. <br /> <br />Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth having <br />been accepted as set forth in Section ! hereof~ and the Auditor of Cuyahoga <br />County be and he is hereby authorized to cancel said special assessment <br />for the years 1969 and 1970 levied under Qrdi!lance No. 20-66~ adopted by <br />the Council of the City of LaKewood on March 2]., 1966, on permanent parcel <br />number 313-19-.1t5 on the County Auditor's records and further described as <br />being in the Mathews & Gilbert Subdivision, Volume 28, Page 29: each <br />annual assessment being in the amount of $15.82. <br /> <br />Section 3. Tha~ the Clerk of Council be ar*~ she is hereby authorized and <br />directed to deliver a certified copy of this ~esolution to the Auditor of <br />Cuyahoga County ~or the purpose of having said special assessment canceled. <br /> <br />Section 4.
