RESOLUTION NOo 4695 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Huffman, Kelley, Usher, <br /> Ward, Wendling, Gaydos, Graber <br /> <br /> AN EMERG~NCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing <br />the Director of Public Works to enter into a requirement <br />contract or contracts for the purchase of street repair <br />materials for a period of one (1) year commencing April 1, <br />1969. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal <br />department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OP T~E CITY OF <br />LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be <br />and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />requirement contract or contracts for the purchase of street <br />repair materials for a period of one (1) year commencing <br />April 1, 1969, in accordance with the list of such materials <br />on file in the office of the Director of Public Works, with <br />the lowest and best bidder or bidders after advertisement <br />according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared <br />to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the pre- <br />amble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote <br />of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />February 3, 1969 <br /> <br />Robert E.
