RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />4696 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Kelley, Usher, Ward, <br /> Wendling, GaydoS, Graber, Huffman <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing <br />the Director of Public Works to enter into a requirement <br />contract for liquid chlorine, lime and ferric chloride, <br />for a period of one (1) year commencing April 1, 1969. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure providing for the usual daily operation of a muni- <br />cipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be <br />and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />requirement contract for the purchase of liquid chlorine, <br />lime and ferric chloride, for a period of one (1) year <br />commencing April 1, 1969 with the lowest and best bidder <br />after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby <br />declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated <br />in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirma- <br />tive vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br />adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />February 3~ 196~ <br /> <br />Robert E.
