Gaydos, Graber, Huffman, <br /> Kelley, Usher, Ward, WendliDg <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the <br />Director of Public Works to enter into a contract, after <br />approval by Council, for the construction of approximately <br />1,980 feet of twelve-inch water main in Detroit Avenue <br />extending from Waterbury Road to Alameda Avenue. <br /> <br />the <br />and~ <br /> <br />WHEREAS, This Council has determined to proceed with <br />improvement set forth in the title hereof by contract, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure providing for the immediate preservation of the <br />public health and safety and for the usual daily operation <br />of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and <br />he is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the <br />construction of approximately 1,980 feet of twelve-inch <br />water main in Detroit Avenue extending from Waterbury Road <br />to Alameda Avenue, in accordance with plans prepared there- <br />fore in the office of the Director of Public Works, with <br />the lowest and best bidder after advertisement according to <br />law, and only after approval of such contract by the Council <br />of the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
