RESOLUTION NO. 4716 <br /> <br />Messrs. Graber, Huffman, Kelley, <br />Usher, Ward, Wendling, Gsydos <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the <br />Director of Public Works to enter into a contract, after <br />approval by Council, for the construction of approximately <br />1,380 feet of storm sewer in Robinwood Avenue extending from <br />Franklin Boulevard to Detroit Avenue. <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, ~his Council has determined to proceed with <br />the improvement set forth in the title hereof by contract, <br />and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure providing for the immediate preservation of the public <br />health and safety and for the usual daily operation of a muni- <br />cipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and <br />he is hereby authorized to enter into a. contract for the <br />construction of approximately 1,380 feet of storm sewer in <br />Robinwood Avenue extending from Franklin Boulevard to Detroit <br />Avenue, in accordance with plans prepared therefore in the <br />office of the Director of Public Works, with the lowest and <br />best bidder after advertisement according to law, and only <br />after approval of such contract by the Council of the City <br />of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> Section 2. This resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted <br /> <br />President <br /> <br /> Clerk/ <br /> <br />?' <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
