RESOLUTION NO. 4728 BY: Messrs. Huff~n, Usher, Ward, Wendling, Gaydos, Graber AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance Director of the City of Lskewood to accept the principal and interest on special assessment levied on permanent parcel number 312-27-034, and known for street numbering purposes as 13002 Clifton Blvd., on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's records and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel said special assessment for the years 1969, 1970, 1971 and 1972. WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood has special assessment charged against the property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 13-68, adopted by the Council of the City of April 1, 1968, and WHEREAS, the owner of the said property has tendered payment of the principal portion and interest on the special assessment levied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5719.16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized a~d directed to accept the sum of $160.72 tendered in payment of the principal and interest for the years 1969, 1970, 1971 and 1972, of special assessment charged against the property described as permanent parcel number 312-27-034 on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and levied under Ordinance No. 13-68, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood On Apr. 1, 1968. Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth having been accepted as set forth in Section 1 hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized to cancel said special assessment for the years 1969, 1970, 1971 and 1972, levied under Ordinance No. 13-68, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on April 1, 1968 on permanent parcel number 312-27-034 on the County Auditor,s records and further described as being in the C. H. Mclntyre Ideal Allottment No. 7, Volume 38, Page 12, each annual assessment being in the amount of $40.18~ Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessment canceled. Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force in~nediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
