Ward, Wendling, Gaydos, <br />' Graber, lluffman, Kelley, Usher <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY P~SOLUTION authorizing and directing the Dircctor <br />of Public Works to enter into a contract or contracts for the purchase <br />of the necessary requirements of valves and pipe fittings for the year <br />1970 for use in the Division of Water. , <br /> <br /> WI~REAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the immediate preservation of the public property and <br />welfare and ~or the usual daily operation of a municipal department; <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY T~ COUNCIL OF T}~ CITY OF LAI<]~WOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO:' <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract or contracts ~or <br />the purchase of the necessary requirements of valves and pipe fittings <br />for the year 1970 ~or use in the Division of Water, with the lowest and <br />best bidder or bidders after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and pro- <br />vided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
