Voinovich, registered architect, for the purpose of pre <br /> <br />lffman~ Kelley, <br />ting <br /> <br />the <br />George <br />aring <br /> <br />an engineering study of the Lakewood Incinerator, which will znclude <br />an analysis of present operations and recommendations for eliminating <br />air pollution to conform to the regulations of the Revised~Code of <br />the State of Ohio, including an estimated cost of proposed work. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This Council determines that it is necessary to <br />provide for the preparation of a preliminary engineering study and <br />report on the operation of the Lakewood Incinerator, as it relates <br />to pollution control and the updating of facilities, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the inunediate preservation of the public health and <br />safety and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department, <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: · <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he <br />is hereby authorized and directed to employ by contract, the firm <br />of George S. Voinovich, registered architect, for the purpose of <br />preparing an engineering study of the Lakewood Incinerator which <br />will include an analysis of present operations and recommendations <br />for eliminating air pollution to conform to the r~gulations of the <br />Revised Code of the State of Ohio, including an estimated cost of <br />proposed work. Said study shall be at a cost not to exceed <br />$7,O0O.O0. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof, and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds <br />of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br /> P~.~c~sident <br /> <br />/ .
