Huffman, Kelley, Usher, <br /> e Ward, Wendling <br /> <br /> AN E~MRGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director <br />of Public Works to enter into a contract or contracts for tile purchase <br />of the necessary requirements of valves and pipe fittings for the year <br />1971 for use in the Division of Water. <br /> <br /> Wt~REAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the immediate preservation of the public property and <br />welfare and tor the usual daily operation of a municipal department; <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY TI~ COUNCIL OF TI{E CITY OF LAkq~WOOD, STATE <br />OF O}lIO ~' <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract or contracts ~or <br />the purchase of the n~cessary requirements of valves and pipe fittings <br />for the year 1971 for use in the Division of Water, with the lowest and <br />best bidder or bidders after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and pro- <br />vided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
