RESOLUTION NO. 4800 <br /> <br />BY:Messrs. Wa~d, Gaydos, Graber, <br /> Huffman, Kelley, Us~r <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Dlreetor of Public <br />Works to enter into a contract for the purchase of approximately 66,000 <br />gallons of No. 2 Fuel Oil for a period of one year, cemmencing February 1, <br />1971. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary to furnish the Waste Water Treatment <br />Plant and the Street Department with No. 2 Fuel Oil for their operations, <br />and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure pro- <br />viding for the immediate preservation of the public property and for <br />the usual daily operation of these municipal departments; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE~OOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract for the purchase <br />of the necessary requirements of No. 2 Fuel Oil for a period of one year, <br />beginning February 1, 1971 for the Waste Water Treatment Plant and the <br />Street Department, with the lowest and best bidder after advertisement <br />according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon <br />its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Vice President <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />A~ing Clerk <br /> Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
