RESOLUTION NO. 4819 BY: Messrs. Kelley, Usher, Ward, Wendling, Gaydos, Graber, Huffman AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Finance to pay the cost of membership of the City in the North- east Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency for the year 1971, declaring sudh membership to be in the publmc interest and supplementmng Resolution No. 4801, adopted January 4, 1971. WHEREAS, on June 3, 1968 this Council adopted Resolution No. 4635 which expressed "the willingness of the City of Lakewood to cooperate with the Northeast Ohmo Areawide Coordinating Agency,', and, WHEREAS; participation of the City in said organization inures to the public benefit, and, WHEREAS, thms resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the mmmediate preservation of the public peace, proper- ty, health and safety and for the usual daily operation of municipal departments, now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That membership in the following organization by the City of Lakewood is hereby declared to be %n the public inter- est: NOrtheast ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency Section 2~ That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby a~thorized t~ pay the cost of membership of the city of Lakewood for the year 1971 in the organization set forth in Section 1 hereof. Section 3. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated mn the preamble hereof, and provided it recemves the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor, and Resolu- tion No. 4801 adopted January 4, 1971 is hereby supplemented by the addition of the organization set forth in Section 1 hereof.
