RESOLUTION NO. 4830 BY: Messrs. Gaydos, Graber, Huffman, Kelley, Us~ r, Ward, Wendling AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and interest on special assessment levied on permanent parcel number 311-27-95,and known for street numbering purposes as 1294 Bonnieview Avenue, on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's records and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel said special assessment for the yesrs 1971 through 1974. WHEREAS, The City of Lakewood has special assessment charged against the property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 37-70, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on July 20, 1970, and, WHEREAS, The owner of the said property has tendered payment of the principal portion and interest on the special assessment levied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5716.16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and, WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1o That the Director of Finance of the City of Lekewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $93.44 tendered in payment of the principal and interest for the years 1971 through 1974, of special assess- ment charged against the property described aa permanent parcel number 31 -27-95 on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and levied under Ordinance No. 37-70, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on July 20, 1970. Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth having been accepted as set forth in Section 1 hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized to cancel said special assessment for the years 1971 through 1974, levied under Ordinance No. 37-70, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on July 20, 1970 on permanent parcel number 311-27-95 on the County Auditor's Records and further described as being in the Mo L. Atwell Subdivision~ Volume 32, Page 1, each annual assessment being in the amount of $23.36. Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessment canceled. Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirm- ative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoptio~'~and approval by the Mayor.
