RESOLUTION NO. 4832 Messrs. Graber, Huffman~ Kelley, Usher, Ward, Wendling, Gaydos AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and interest on special assessment levied on permanent parcel number 311-21-33, and known for street numbering purposes as 1282 Granger Avenue, on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's records and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel said special assessment for the year 1972. WHEREAS, The City of Lakewood has special assessment charged against the property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 15-68, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on April 1, 1968, and, WHEREAS, The owner of the said property has tendered payment of the principal portion and interest on the special assessment levied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5716.16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and, WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, ~herefore: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $24.48 tendered in payment of the principal and interest for the year 1972,~-of special assessment charged against the property described as permanent parcel number 31-21-33 on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and levied under Ordinance 15-68, adopted by the Council ~f th~ City of bakewood.,on, April 1, 1968'. Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth having been accepted as set forth in Section 1 hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized to cancel said special assessme~ for the year 1972, levied under Ordinance No. 15-68, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on April 1, 1968 on permanent parcel number 311-21-33 on the County Auditor's Records and further described as being in the Citizens R.E. Company Subdivision, No. 3, Volume 37, page 24, each annual assessment being in the amount of $24.48. Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessment canceled. Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirm- ative vote of two-thirds of all.members elected to Council, it shall take effect end be in force irmnedia~ely upon its adoption and approval by the blayor.
