RESOLUTION NO. 4842 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Ward, Wendling, Gaydos, <br /> Graber, Huffman, Kelley, Usher <br /> <br /> AN,~MERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public Works <br />to enter into a contract for the purchase of the necessary requirements <br />of gasoline for several departments of the City, for a period of one <br />year, commencing November 1, 1971 and ending October 31, 1972. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary to furnish the several departments of <br />the City with gasoline for the operation of ~ehicles and motorized <br />equipment, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure pro- <br />vidiug for the immediate preservation of the public property and for <br />the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be, and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract for the pur- <br />chase of the necessary requirements of gasoline for a period of one <br />year, beginning November t, 1971, for the several departments of the <br />City, with the lowest and best bidder after advertisement according <br />to lawo <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force i~,ediately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br />Approved;f - <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
