RESOLUTION NO.: 4848 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Huffman, Usher, Ward, <br /> Wendling, Gaydos, Graber <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director <br />of Public Works to enter into a requirement contract for the purchase of <br />the necessary items of Fire Hydrants and Fire Hydrant Parts for a period <br />of one (1) year commencing January 1, 1972. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the immediate.preservation of the public property and <br />welfare and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, <br />therefore~ <br /> <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a requirement contract for <br />the purchase of the necessary items of fire hydrants and fire hydrant <br />parts for a period of one (1) year cormmencing January 1, 1972, with the <br />lowest and best bidder, after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and pro- <br />viced it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Approved:_ <br /> <br /> President <br /> <br />/ Clerk <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
