RESOLUTION NO. 4849 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Wendling, Gaydos, <br /> Graber, Huffman, Usher, Ward <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor as Director of Public Safety to <br />enter intola contract for the purchase of breathing appsrtus and appurtenances <br />for the Fire Department of the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure in that it provides <br />for the irmmediate preservation of the public safety and welfare and for the <br />usual daily operation of municipal departments; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the Mayor as Director of Public Safety be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into contract for the purchase of the follow- <br />ing equipment: <br /> <br />Fourteen (14) breathing apparatus and appurtenances <br /> <br />with the lowest and best bidder after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br />Section 2o That this resolution is declared to be an emergency measure for the <br />reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative <br />vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and <br />be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />Presid~ / <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
