I~SOLUTION NO. 4876 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Brockman, Graber, Kelley, <br /> Magnotto, McBride, Usher <br /> <br /> AN E~RGENCY RESOLUTION authoriZing the Director of Public Works to <br />emter into a contract or contracts for the rental of uniforms for various <br />employees of the Divisions of Refuse, Streets, Parks and Water. <br /> <br /> ~]{EREAS, this resolution constitutes an e~ergency measure in that <br />it provides for the immediate preservation of the public safety and wel- <br />fare and for the usual daily operation of municipal departments; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> SeCtion 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract for the rental of uniforms <br />for various employees of the Divisions of Refuse, Streets, Parks and Water, <br />w~th the lowest and best bidder after advertisement according to law, for <br />a period of two years, commencing May 1, 1972. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is declared to be an emergency <br />~easure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it <br />Teceives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council it shall take effect and be in force i~:nediately upon its adoption <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
