RESOLUTION NO.: 4910 BY: Messrs. Magnotto, McBride, Usher, <br /> Werner, Brockman, Graber <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director <br />of Public Works to enter into a contract or contracts for the purchase of <br />the necessary requirements of Valves and Pipe Fittings for the period of <br />one year' cormnencing January 1, 1973, for use in the Division of Water. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure pro- <br />viding for the immediate preservation of the public property and welfare <br />and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br /> <br />OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract or contracts for <br />the purchase of the necessary requirements of valves and pipe fittings <br />for the year 1973 for use in the Division of Water, with the lowest and <br />best bidder or bidders, after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and pro- <br />vided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br />Approved. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
